SnapSale is an AI-powered platform for virtual staging of real estate photos. We help real estate agents transform empty or dated spaces into attractively furnished homes, helping properties sell faster and at better prices.
- Upload a photo of an empty or dated space
- Choose an interior style (modern, Scandinavian, classic, etc.)
- Our AI generates a professionally virtually staged image within minutes
- Download and use the photo in your sales materials
You can upload photos of living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, dining rooms, and other living spaces. You'll get the best results with: - Empty spaces or spaces with minimal furniture - Good lighting - Straight angles (not photographed too obliquely) - Resolution of at least 1024x1024 pixels
On average, your virtually staged photos are ready within 2-5 minutes. This may take slightly longer during peak hours.
Snaps are AI-generated furnished property photos that are ready within minutes. You upload a photo, choose a style, and we create a ready-to-use version.
Traditional impressions are manually created by designers and are expensive and slow. Snaps are instantly available, affordable, and super simple — without designers, graphic artists, or physical staging.
For virtually all properties: empty, dated, occupied, or new builds. As long as the photo is clear, we can create a Snap from it.
Snaps work well for almost any property. Especially useful for spaces that lack atmosphere or furnishing, or look dated. Even for "normal" properties, Snaps help create a more attractive presentation.
Yes. Attractive images attract more attention online, which directly leads to more clicks and viewings.
Yes, batch uploads are supported so you can process multiple rooms or properties at the same time.
We offer multiple styles such as modern, Scandinavian, industrial, classic, and warm contemporary. New styles are regularly added based on user feedback.
Yes, you can create unlimited variations in different styles. Ideal for A/B testing or presentations. Variations in other styles do not count again towards your quota.
Yes, you can select your favourite style so that it is automatically applied to new uploads.
You can create new variations by choosing a different style. Manual editing within SnapSale itself is not yet possible.
Yes, the entire tool also works on your phone. Ideal if you want to quickly create a Snap on location.
No — this is a common assumption. SnapSale has two applications: For properties that are empty, dated, or cluttered: improve the presentation so buyers see the potential. For well-presented properties: help buyers imagine how the home would look in their style or for their family. A young couple with small children dreams of something different than a stylized designer home. Snaps can show the same space in a warm, family-oriented style — so they can already see themselves living there. Imagination sells.
Virtual staging for the seller solves a presentation problem: an empty or dated property looks less attractive than it is. Virtual staging for the buyer goes further: it helps someone emotionally connect with a space. Buyers don't buy square metres — they buy a feeling. Snaps make that feeling visible, tailored to the target audience of the property. Both applications demonstrably lead to more viewings and faster sales.
Yes. Especially with new builds, there's no interior at all. Snaps immediately show how a space can be laid out and furnished — without anything needing to be built or staged. Buyers don't need to use their imagination; you give them an image that already works.
SnapSale is most valuable for agents who: - Have vacant properties in their portfolio — empty spaces are hard to sell without imagination - Sell properties where the current furnishing doesn't match the target audience - Manage new-build projects — no physical interior, but a need for visuals - Want to save on physical staging (€1,500–€5,000 per property) - Want to publish faster without depending on external parties - Already perform well — to do even better.
Traditional staging costs €50–€200 per photo and takes 24–72 hours to deliver. SnapSale costs from €1.50 per photo and delivers within 2 minutes. You decide when, how many, and in what style — without depending on an agency or waiting time. For deadlines (property needs to go online tomorrow), last-minute style changes, or testing multiple variants, SnapSale cannot be replaced by an agency.
Yes. Some quotes from existing users: "A vacant apartment had beautifully styled photos within 2 minutes. The buyer was immediately enthusiastic." — Jan van der Berg, agent Amsterdam "Physical staging cost us €3,000 per property. Now we pay a fraction and have professional photos within minutes." — Lisa Bakker, ERA Utrecht "Sales are noticeably faster since we started using SnapSale." — Mark de Koning, NVM agent Rotterdam SnapSale has an average rating of 4.8 on Google, based on 127 reviews.
Explain that virtual staging has been a common practice in real estate for years — SnapSale makes it more accessible and affordable. The space is never structurally changed. Buyers see exactly the property they're buying, but with an image that helps their imagination. Compare it to interior design advice or a styled open house: you show the best that's possible, without hiding anything.
Less than 2 minutes per photo. No installation, no training, no scheduling a designer. Upload → choose style → download. For comparison: physical staging requires several hours of planning, delivery, and removal. SnapSale replaces that entirely or supplements it — for a fraction of the time.
Yes. That's exactly where SnapSale is powerful. For a property in a family neighbourhood, you choose a warm, functional style. For a city loft, you choose minimalist or industrial. The same space, but tailored to the lifestyle of the most likely buyer. You present the property not as it is, but as the buyer wants to see it.
Yes. You can create multiple Snaps of the same space in different styles — one for young families, one for a couple without children, one for seniors. On social media, you can A/B test those variants or deploy them per channel.
Every property benefits at the moment of publication — day 1 on Funda receives on average 3.2× more views than day 3. A Snap you don't have on day 1 can't be retrieved. Agents who use SnapSale structurally see it as part of their standard sales preparation, not as an exception.

Research by Brainbay/NVM shows that properties sold within 1 month achieve on average 5.4% above the asking price. That's €18,900 extra — for photos that cost €1.50 each. Even if the relationship is indirect: the costs of SnapSale are negligible compared to the potential added value.

Yes, you have full commercial rights to all generated photos. You can use them in sales materials, websites, social media, etc.
Photos are temporarily stored for processing and are automatically deleted after 7 days.
Snaps are highly realistic thanks to advanced AI models. Furniture, perspective, and lighting are automatically matched to the space.
Our AI recognises depth, lines, and light in the photo. This ensures that perspective and shadows remain natural and accurate in the Snap.
The AI can correct a lot and significantly improve quality, but the better the input, the better the Snap. Extremely dark or cluttered photos may sometimes produce less polished results.
Yes, depending on the space. For a garage, for example, you can have the clutter cleared away.
No, Snaps furnish spaces but do not alter fixed building elements. This keeps the result realistic and suitable for sales.
Very occasionally, yes — for example with extreme angles or unclear photos. You can then immediately generate a new Snap.
Each photo is interpreted individually. This means every Snap is optimised, but furniture or colours are not guaranteed to be identical across photos.
Buyers increasingly know that virtual staging exists and accept it as a common presentation method — just as they understand that professional photos are edited. What matters is that the property remains recognizable and the potential is shown realistically. Snaps don't change walls, floors, or structural elements. The space is always recognizable. Agents who are transparent ('impression of how the space could be furnished') experience no resistance from buyers.
Snaps are created with advanced AI that automatically adjusts perspective, lighting, and shadows. The result is professional enough for listing platforms, social media, and sales materials. 127 agents rate SnapSale an average of 4.8 stars on Google. See also the before/after comparisons on snapsale.nl.
You can immediately generate a new variant. Variations in other styles don't count again towards your quota. There are no extra costs for retrying — you generate until you're satisfied.
There is no legal obligation, but transparency is recommended. Common phrasing: 'impression of how the space could be furnished'. This is factually correct, doesn't create false expectations, and is widely accepted by buyers — just as with classic interior impressions in property development.
No, provided you correctly present Snaps as impressions. SnapSale doesn't change structural elements — no walls, floors, windows, or layouts. The space is always recognizable. A buyer who views the property sees exactly the space as it is — just without the styled furnishing.
No. Photos are exclusively used for generating your Snaps. They are never used for AI training, marketing, or other purposes. After 7 days, all uploads and Snaps are automatically deleted.

The Referral Program is a scheme where customers with an active paid subscription can invite other entrepreneurs to use Snapsale. When an invitation leads to a new paid subscription, both the existing customer and the new customer receive a free month of their subscription.
Only customers with an active and paid subscription can participate in the Referral Program and send invitations.
You invite other entrepreneurs via a personal invitation link that is made available within your Snapsale account.
Each invitation link is: - unique; - single-use only; - valid for 30 days after creation.
After use or after the validity period expires, the link automatically becomes invalid.
Once the invited party: 1. registers via your invitation link; and 2. successfully completes the first payment of the subscription,
both you and the new customer receive one free month.
The free month is automatically offset against the next invoice in the form of a credit. No cash payment takes place.
No. The referral credit: - is not transferable to third parties; - is not redeemable for cash; - cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts, or offers.
Yes. Each customer has a maximum of 10 invitation links per calendar month.
Upon termination or expiration of the subscription, any unprocessed referral credit automatically expires.
Snapsale reserves the right in case of suspected abuse, improper use, or fraud to: - withdraw referral credit; - terminate participation in the Referral Program; - take additional measures if necessary.
Yes. Snapsale can modify or discontinue the Referral Program at any time. Already awarded referral credit remains valid as long as the subscription is active.
The full and legally binding terms of the Referral Program are included in Article 4 of the Snapsale General Terms and Conditions.
Home seekers make their first decision almost entirely based on photos. Research by Funda shows that people decide within a few photos whether a property is interesting enough to view further or they drop off immediately.
This means the first impression in the listing is crucial.
Source: Funda - How well are property photos viewed on Funda?
Most attention for a property occurs immediately after publication. Funda shows that a property:
- on day 1 is found on average 1.8× more often than on day 3
- on day 1 is viewed 3.2× more often than a few days later
Those who don't convince in this first phase miss a large part of potential interest.
Source: Funda - The first days on Funda are the most important
When photos don't clearly show the potential of a property, many seekers drop off. They don't click through, don't request a viewing, and often don't come back.
This especially applies to: - empty properties - dated interiors - cluttered or busy furnished spaces
This is exactly where Snapsale helps: by creating photo impressions that show calm, space, and potential.
Yes. Funda sees that additional and richer presentation tools (such as videos and 360° images) are viewed by fewer people, but these are precisely the most relevant and serious home seekers.
For this group, visual tools are often decisive in the decision to request a viewing.
This underscores the effect of better presentation on the quality of interest.
Source: Funda - How often are videos and 360° photos viewed?
International platform data supports this picture. The British property platform Rightmove shows that so-called "great listings" (properties with clearly better presentation and photos) generate up to 93% more leads than averagely presented properties.
That amounts to almost a doubling of interest.
Source: Rightmove - Ultimate Guide to Property Photography (PDF)
More (and better) interest usually means: - faster sufficient viewings - faster serious offers - less chance of a property "being on the market too long"
In the daily practice of real estate agents, this often leads to a faster sales process.
Snapsale helps here by getting the most out of the property in the first phase — the online presentation.
Selling faster is not only pleasant, it's also financially relevant. Research by Brainbay (NVM) shows that properties that:
- are sold within 1 month, on average come out 5.4% above the asking price
- properties that are on the market longer, more often face price pressure
This shows that speed and yield are strongly related.
Source: Van Huyse - Brainbay research: selling your house quickly yields more
Snapsale does not claim to automatically increase the sale price. What Snapsale does do is contribute to a stronger start of the sales process:
- better first impression
- more and faster interest
- greater chance of a smooth sales process
And because selling faster is on average associated with better price results, Snapsale indirectly improves the negotiating position.
Yes. Snapsale is a modern form of virtual staging.
While traditional virtual staging often revolves around digitally adding furniture to empty spaces, Snapsale focuses on something else: visually showing the potential of a property.
Snapsale creates photo impressions that: - neutralize dated or busy interiors - bring empty properties to life - better match the target audience of the property
The goal is not to make a property "look better than it is," but to help buyers understand more quickly how a space can be used and how it feels to live there.
This makes Snapsale particularly effective in the online orientation phase, where most purchase decisions begin.
The evidence follows a clear chain:
- Buyers decide based on photos (Funda)
- The first days of a listing are crucial (Funda)
- Better presentation holds attention and helps with decision-making (Funda)
- Better listings generate significantly more interest (Rightmove)
- More and faster interest often leads to faster sales
- Faster sales are associated with better yields (Brainbay / NVM)
Snapsale intervenes precisely at the beginning of this chain: the online presentation.
Snapsale is especially effective for: - empty properties - dated interiors - properties where the interior doesn't match the future wishes of potential buyers - properties where the layout or potential isn't immediately clear - sellers who want to get the most out of the first publication days
Because the current furnishing rarely matches the buyer's lifestyle. An older agent in a family neighbourhood sells to young families — they don't see themselves in a room full of antiques. With Snaps, you show how the property looks for them: play area, children's bed, functional kitchen. You're not selling the current occupant, you're selling the next occupant their future.
Think in target audiences. Ask yourself: who is most likely going to live here? Young families → warm, functional style with play space Starters / young professionals → modern, minimalist, spacious Seniors or empty nesters → classic, calm, comfortable Expats or international buyers → neutral, Scandinavian SnapSale offers styles that match each of these target audiences. One property, multiple opportunities.
Fast sales don't mean optimal sales. Properties that attract more viewings lead to more bids — and more bids lead to a higher final price. Rightmove data shows that better-presented properties generate up to 93% more leads. More leads, better negotiating position.
A nice photo shows what is there. A Snap shows what could be — from the buyer's perspective. That's the difference between informing and enticing. Real estate sales are largely about emotion: the buyer needs to be able to imagine what their life looks like in that space. Snaps make that imagination concrete.
Yes — especially there. Buyers of luxury properties are accustomed to perfectly styled images. An empty or poorly presented luxury property raises doubt: why isn't this well presented? Snaps in an appropriate style (classic, modern, or high-end contemporary) immediately send the right signal.
Because sales nowadays start online. Those who don't convince there fall behind.
Snapsale helps: - attract more attention - convert interest into action faster - and thereby accelerate the sales process
Not through empty promises, but through smart presentation at the right moment.

Referral Program
12 questionsThe Referral Program is a scheme where customers with an active paid subscription can invite other entrepreneurs to use Snapsale.
Sell Properties Faster and Better with Snapsale
17 questionsHome seekers make their first decision almost entirely based on photos. Research by Funda shows that people decide within a few photos whether a property is interesting enough to view further or they drop off immediately.
This means the first impression in the listing is crucial.

Most attention for a property occurs immediately after publication. Funda shows that a property:
- on day 1 is found on average 1.8× more often than on day 3
- on day 1 is viewed 3.2× more often than a few days later
Those who don't convince in this first phase miss a large part of potential interest.

International platform data supports this picture. The British property platform Rightmove shows that so-called "great listings" (properties with clearly better presentation and photos) generate up to 93% more leads than averagely presented properties.
That amounts to almost a doubling of interest.
